In June we will be learning about Camping & Outdoor Fun, and winding down to our summer holidays. If you pop your head into our classroom, you will see that our caterpillars are beginning to spin their cocoons and will be ready to hatch.
In the month of May we are exploring life in the ocean. We are excited to learn about the variety of marine animals and plants. Our butterfly larvae are due to arrive the week of May 22nd. We love to watch the caterpillars spin their cocoons and transform into beautiful butterflies.
In April we will explore Spring and Recycling. We will start the month with a special egg hunt as well as some fun Easter crafts. We will learn about Spring Planting and seeds later in the month, as well as looking at baby animals in the springtime.
In March we will escape to the land of books and leprechauns! We will explore different methods of storytelling, using some well known stories. Using puppets, props, pictures and acting we will help the kids to explore the magic of storytelling. We are expecting some mischief from Lenny the Leprechaun…be sure to wear green on St Patrick’s Day when we search for Lenny’s pot of gold!
