Volunteer Requirements

We make it easy for families to participate in our playschool. We appreciate that time valuable so we offer a variety of Volunteer Helper Roles so that our families can choose to participate in a way that work for your unique schedules. Our hope is that parents will enjoy community time interacting with their child, their classmates, our educators and other parents. We believe parents can learn many things about their child, and child development, through participation.

Volunteer Helper Roles

We request that each family volunteer for at least 1 role per enrolled child. Each role contributes significantly to helping run our Playschool. Options for Roles are: Playschool Committee (really get to have a say in how the playschool is run); Toy Sanitizing Helper; Laundry Helper; Playdough Making Helpers; Fundraiser Helper; Library Helper; Event Leader and Helper; End of Day Helper; In-Class Helper.

Police Clearances

All in-class volunteers are required to provide Police Security Clearance. Please email us to obtain a volunteer letter so that you can complete your police check or ask any questions you may have.
